RECAP TIME- about everything that happens off-screen.
You still get up at 6:30, but you usually take your time getting ready for school. Arthur usually goes with you to take the train to school, and you see Dan there everyday, considering you two are usually the first passengers of the morning.

==Friday, 7:00 AM, Your Room==

Ahhh, it's finally Friday. You laid in your bed, thankful that everything was on a normal schedule. And plus, today you-

"Rise and shine, [Name]!" Alfred yelled, barging into your room. For once, he was fully clothed, dressed in a suit and tie. "You got school today!"

"Alfred-"

"What? Dudette, you're not even dressed yet! Oh well, we can get breakfast on the way there, and you can get dressed in the car!" Alfred yelled. "Where's your uniform?"

"Over there, but- Alfred!" you screeched, shivering as Alfred pulled your cozy covers off you. He stuffed your uniform your backpack and picked you up, bridal style. He ran downstairs, tossed you into the backseat of the car with your backpack, and started up the car.

"Buckle your seatbelt!" Alfred called.

Before you could do anything, let alone buckle your seat belt, Alfred sped out of his driveway and onto the highway.

=8:00AM, School==

After breaking every speed limit he saw and being pulled over a bunch of times, you lost track at ten, you and Alfred finally arrived at school. "[Name], you're not dressed yet!" Alfred yelled.

"That's because-" He cut you off once.

"Where is everyone? Doesn't school start in ten minutes?" Alfred asked, checking his watch.

"Yes, but-" He cut you off twice.

"What's with this school? How are we earlier than the teachers?"

"That's be-" He cut you off thrice.

"What's the complaint num-"

"WILL YOU LET ME FINISH MY GODDAMN SENTENCE!?" you yelled.

"Okay, brah. What do you got to say?" Alfred quivered under your eleven-year-old might. Who knew preteens could get so scary?

"There's no school today!"

"Why not?"

"Because there's a faculty retreat! Now can we go home?"

Wordlessly, Alfred drove you home.

==9:00AM, Your Room==

"And that's my morning," you chatted over your [f/c] iPhone. You laid on your bed.

"That is so sad. Your new dad bringing you to school on a holiday," your best friend, [b/f/n], comforted. And you couldn't help but feel a little bit bad for yelled at Alfred.

"He is not my new dad!" you growled. "He is my current legal guardian. I'd rather have-" Your ranting was cut off by a knock. "WHY IS EVERYONE CUTTING ME OFF?" you complained loudly.

"[Name], dear, it's Arthur," called from behind the door.

"I gotta go. I'll call you back [b/f/n]," you hung up. "Come in."

"What happened this morning?" Arthur asked, coming in and taking a seat on your bed next to you.

"He drove me to school," you answered.

"I thought you didn't after school today."

"I don't."

Arthur sighed. "Give Alfred a break. It's his first time."

"Really? I thought he would have at least fathered at one child considering he's into one-night stands," you asked.

"Where did you learn that?!" Arthur asked.

"Uh... Health class?"

"No, no. That he has one-night stands."

"I went to go wake him up on the first morning I was here with him, and I saw a stranger in bed with him. And trust me, if he was married, I'd know that."

"No, how do you even know what a one-night stand is?"

"Um... The eighth graders?" you smiled sheepishly.

Arthur sighed and said," Did at least have breakfast yet?"

"Just some yogurt. I'll grab a snack later."

"Come downstairs. I'll make you some breakfast."

"Fine."

==10:00AM, Kitchen==

You sat at the kitchen table. "Um... Arthur... What is this?"

"Crumpets, of course! They're my mumsy's recipe!"

You stared at the black lumps that lay on the plates. You swore that one of them just moved. Any second, you bet that they’ll actually start walking. You picked a black lump up and tossed it around before giving a look to Arthur.

“Go on, try one! It won’t kill you!” Yeah, right.

You used to love having a nice warm crumpet with a little melting butter on it… Not anymore. You took a bite of it and forced it down. Your cheeks started looking like a pale green. You slightly whimpered and shot up from your seat, trying to keep yourself from vomiting. Oh, who am I kidding? Within seconds, you were in your bathroom, puking chunks in your toilet.

“There, there, love,” Arthur said, patting your back and holding back your [h/c] hair. Tears fell from your face and hit the seat. You sat back and wiped your mouth on your sleeve.

“I think I’m okay now,” you said. Your face didn’t look green anymore. There wasn’t a single trace. Keep in mind, your face didn’t look green anymore. You were looking ridiculously pale. “What was in those crumpets?”

“Flour, milk, eggs, shells, butter,” Arthur listed.

Wait… When was there milk? You haven’t been grocery shopping yet, and the milk in the fridge was spoiled. ‘That’s it!’ you realized. You struggled to get up and needed Arthur’s help to retain your balance and not fall down after every step you take.

Soon enough, you were back in the kitchen and digging through the fridge. Finally, you pulled out a normal gallon of milk. Little did England know, that jug of milk had expired in 1985.

“I haven’t gone grocery shopping yet. I’ll pick up some essentials once I get home tonight,” you replied, getting up.

“What? Where are you going?” Arthur asked.

“Macy’s is having a HUGE sale, these super cute stuffed animals just got marked down at New People, and I gotta stock up on snacks at Target for an upcoming sleepover,” you informed him, getting excited.

“Are you still planning on going after throwing up?”

“Of course!” you cried. “It’s a one-day sale! And New People never marks anything down!”

“Bloody hell, you just threw up, you’ve barely had breakfast, and you’re thinking about shopping? Young lady, you are to stay in bed today!” Arthur commanded.

“C’mon, you’re not my guardian or anything,” you retorted.

“If you get sick, there’ll only be strangers to help you out!”

“I’m going with three other friends!”

“And do you think they’ll know what to do if you throw up?”

“YES!”

Arthur sighed. “Dear, I just want what’s best for you.”

“So you’d rather have me sleep all day and get fat?” you argued. A picture of a fat you flashed into Arthur’s mind. He shivered at the thought of it, but managed to shrug it off.

"It's only one weekend. You're not going to get fat from it." He refused to change his mind, and you were smart enough to figure that out early, not argue until he grounds you.

"Fiiine." You washed your mouth out before trudging back to back.

"Alfred and I have a meeting to go to but we'll be back by nine," Arthur informed, heading back out the door.

You grunted a response before continuing to bury yourself into your oh-so-comfortable blankets...Until your cellphone rang. You picked it up and answered with, "Whut?"

"We still going shopping today?"

"Can't. Remember my new legal guardian, Arthur?"

"The guy with the bushy brows?"

"Yeah."

"What about him?"

"Gave me some shit called food to eat and got me sick."

"Sucks, bro."

"Blehhh," you groaned.

"How are we gunna prep for next week's party, now?"

"Order express online and you can come over tonight if you want," you suggested.

"Is Arthur gunna let you?"

"He's got a meeting to go to with Alfie."

"'Kay. You have my new address right?"

"Nope."

You gave the voice your address. "See you in a bit." With that final phrase, you hung up from phone and placed it on the shelf next to your bed.
